Between this Wednesday and April 30, some of the inhabitants of Hauts-de-France will receive an “energy check” for an average amount of 150 euros.
For eligible households, in other words the most modest, this government aid must be used to pay, at least in part, the energy bills for their homes or their energy renovation work.
In France, nearly 6 million households will benefit from this measure in 2022. In Hauts-de-France, this concerns exactly 572,633 households out of the 2.4 million identified in 2018. The overall envelope for the region is 86.9 million euros, or an average of 151 euros per household, knowing that the maximum amount of the check can reach 277 euros.
Beneficiaries in the region will therefore receive this check by post between this Wednesday and the end of April without having had to take any steps.
The sending is automatic according to the incomes and the composition of the hearths.
Beneficiaries are then free to use the check to pay “electricity bills, natural gas bills, other heating fuels, heating costs (APL housing, nursing homes, etc.)”.
It can also be used for “certain expenses related to the energy renovation of housing carried out by an RGE-certified professional”.
On the other hand, there is no need to try to refuel your vehicle, it will not work.
