Bruce Willis' family has published a statement confirming the star's retirement from acting due to aphasia.

And his wife, Emma Willis, said - on her official page on the Instagram site - "To fans of Bruce Willis, we - his family - wanted to inform you that your beloved star suffers from some health problems."

She added that "Bruce Willis was recently diagnosed with aphasia, a disease that affects his cognitive and cognitive abilities."

She confirmed that as a result of this disease, Willis retired from the acting profession, which he loves very much.

In the same vein, Emma explained, "This is a challenging time for our family, and we deeply appreciate your continued love, sympathy and support."

She referred to the Hollywood artist's family dealing with his illness, saying, "We are dealing with this matter as a strong united family, and we wanted to tell his fans and lovers, because we know his standing with you, as we know yours with him."

And she concluded her message with what Bruce always said, "Live your life," and commented, "And we plan together to do it."

According to the Mayo Clinic, aphasia is a disease that prevents the ability to communicate, and can affect the ability to speak, write and understand language, both orally and in writing, and this condition "usually occurs suddenly after a stroke or head injury, but it can also come from a slow-growing brain tumor or disease that causes gradual and permanent damage (degenerative).

Bruce Willis is known for his long career in Hollywood, where he played the absolute lead roles in many films such as "Die Hard" and "Armageddon", and he also appeared in many other films as a main co-star such as "Pulp Fiction" (Pulp Fiction), "The Fifth Element", "The Sixth Sense", "12 Monkeys", "Sin City", and recently played the role of Starring in the 2018 thriller "Death Wish" directed by Eli Roth.

Willis has received numerous awards, including a Golden Globe and two Emmys, and has several projects due out in 2022.
