Toward the realization of a digital society, the government plans to announce useful technologies and businesses that can handle it in the future so that local governments and companies can proceed with efforts such as digitizing written and face-to-face procedures.

The government has set up a "Digital Extraordinary Administrative Investigation Committee" to study necessary legal development and regulatory reforms toward the realization of a digital society, and the working group has announced an interim report.

According to this, we will promote online procedures that are performed in writing or face-to-face, and analyze visual inspections and surveys using cameras and sensors using diagnostic imaging technology.

The government plans to announce useful technologies and businesses that can respond to such efforts so that local governments and companies can proceed with such efforts.

Deputy Minister of Digital Kobayashi, who chairs the working group, said, "By thoroughly reviewing analog regulations, we will maximize the power of digital technology and achieve economic growth."
