A 16-year-old boy shot in the head earlier this week in Sarcelles (Val-d'Oise) died overnight from Wednesday to Thursday.

The second victim, aged 15 and also shot, was released from hospital.

Monday evening around 7:45 p.m., the emergency services had been called for detonations in the Max-Jacob alley, located between the bars of an apartment building.

On the spot, they had discovered on the ground the young man of 16 years, wounded in the face by firearm.

He had been evacuated under police escort to the Beaujon hospital in Clichy.

Circumstances to be clarified

At the same time, the second victim had presented himself to the private hospital in northern Paris in Sarcelles, also suffering from gunshot wounds.

The circumstances of the assault remain unclear at this time.

The investigation opened for “voluntary homicide” and “attempted voluntary homicide” was entrusted to the judicial police of the department.
