The opening of a railway linking Saudi Arabia with Jordan soon

The Jordan Chamber of Commerce organized a meeting with the Saudi Minister of Transport and Logistics, Saleh Al-Jasser, in which he announced the opening of a new Saudi railway in the coming days that will reach the Jordanian border.

Al-Jasser explained that the new railway is available for the development of passenger transport, trade, cars and tourism, in a way that facilitates the service provided to beneficiaries in both countries.

He added that the Kingdom seeks to facilitate trade and transport, especially with Jordan, with which it has deep relations and to work according to the highest international standards, especially in terms of safety, quality and environment.

He pointed out that maritime transport is causing major global changes and there are opportunities to connect through it, in light of rising costs and structural changes in the maritime transport industry.
