Shoigu also said that "targeted operations to track and eliminate foreign mercenaries continue."
In addition, the Russian Defense Minister stated that "the use of high-precision weapons to strike at mercenary training centers, as well as combat losses, has resulted in a decrease in the number of mercenaries in Ukraine."
The report pointed out that Rutskoy, the first deputy chief of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces, said last week that there are currently 6,595 foreign mercenaries and terrorists from 62 countries operating in Ukraine.
