- There is much to suggest that there has been an explosion.
Due to that, we have blocked off an area that will be investigated by the bomb protection during the night, says Morten Gunneng, officer on duty at the police in region West.
The police were alerted to the address at 00.35 on Tuesday night, and were then told that four people must have been in the home.
All, however, must have gotten out of the house and survived without physical injuries.
Whether there is any threat to the residents is not clear.
- Not like we we have received yet, but we have interrogations that are ongoing and will continue the rest of the night.
Then it will turn out, says Gunneng.
- We are working on some investigative measures, including door knocking and a little more.
National bomb shelter in place
According to the police, the material damage must be limited to the front door and the surrounding area, possibly a window.
- But it takes some force to deform a front door, it does not go voluntarily if you say so, it still takes a little neighbor, Gunneng says.
The national bomb squad is on site during the night to find out what it was that exploded.
- Then, of course, they must also ensure that the area is safe for the technicians and work on, so there is no undetonated material left.
The police have launched a preliminary investigation into public destruction.
At present, there is no suspect.
- We are making an effort that is going on at the site, says Morten Gunneng.
