The ministerial meeting of TICAD = Tokyo International Conference on African Development led by Japan has closed.

Japan and African countries shared concerns about the situation in Ukraine and the recognition that the international community needs to work together.

In addition, Russia, which is a permanent member of the UN Security Council, has been working to shake the international order, and has also encouraged cooperation for the immediate realization of Security Council reform.



In addition, at the meeting, discussions were held on the construction of a strong economy by promoting private investment and the realization of a sustainable society including measures against the new corona.



TICAD said that a summit meeting is scheduled for August, and Minister Hayashi said, "Based on the results of the ministerial meeting, we will work together in Japan and African countries to lead to success."
