The Rodong Sinmun introduced the people who took part in the commemorative photo shoot and gave significance to the development of the Hwasong-17 by revealing that it had completed the core nuclear attack method representing North Korea's strategic armed forces.
However, it is known that the South Korean and US military authorities believe that the missile launched by North Korea on the 24th is the existing Hwasong-15, not the new ICBM, the Hwasong-17.
