Kamal Kharazi, an advisor to the Iranian leader, said that there is no concession regarding removing the Revolutionary Guards from the list of terrorism, within the framework of the nuclear agreement that Tehran and world powers are seeking to reach.

In his speech at the Doha Forum, Kharazi explained that it is important for the United States to remove the Revolutionary Guard from the list of foreign terrorist organizations, adding, "The Revolutionary Guard is a national army and it is unacceptable to classify a national army as a terrorist group."

The Iranian advisor stressed that the nuclear deal is imminent, but it can only happen if the United States shows political will.

He called for guarantees that Washington would not withdraw from the nuclear deal again in the future, noting that it would take a period of time to verify the lifting of sanctions imposed on Tehran.

On the other hand, the US envoy to Iran, Robert Malley, said that the Revolutionary Guards will remain within the sanctions, and this is a different issue from the nuclear agreement.

Mali added - in an interview with the forum also - that he is not confident that the nuclear agreement between the Western powers and Iran is imminent, noting that "the sooner we return to the agreement, which is in our interest and is presumably also in Iran's interest, the more we will implement it with greater sincerity and we can build It has to address other issues between us and Iran and between Iran and the region."

He explained that if a nuclear agreement is reached, it will be in accordance with 5+1, including Russia, despite its war on Ukraine.

On Friday, Iranian Foreign Minister Amir Hossein Abdollahian said in a televised interview from Lebanon, "His country has approached the point of consensus in the nuclear negotiations, but what is important to us is how to lift sanctions and guarantees."

While US National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan said - last Wednesday - that the United States and its allies have made progress in the Iran nuclear talks, but there are still problems that exist, and it is not clear if they will be resolved.

The talks in Vienna, in their final round, came close to reaching an agreement when Russia presented the United States with last-minute demands and insisted on guarantees that sanctions imposed on Moscow over its war on Ukraine would not harm its trade with Iran.
