The day after their victory, Bappa Oumar and Mister Keke can quietly enjoy the gala evening of the Dycoco festival.

The two comedians were selected from 183 candidates, they will soon share the boxes of the Montreux Comedy Festival.

In his show, the Gabonese Mister Keke deals with the issue of slavery: “

It's all very well to go on stage and make people laugh, but it's even better when you can bring a lesson in life through it.

That's why today, when comedians go on stage, yes, it's to make people laugh, but it's also to send a message.

“

He who laughs cannot fight

Sending a message and promoting mutual understanding is also what Bappa Oumar is looking for: “

I find that if I talk to you and you laugh, we are good together.

He who laughs cannot fight.

For several years, the director of the Montreux festival has been interested in African talent: “

What touches me the most about African comedians is that they are artists and resilient humor.

The continent has difficult living conditions and there is a lot of humor.

In the world, we need this example, to show that it's not easy, but it is with joy that we will get out of it.
