A young man dies after a fall of ten meters in Rennes

He did not survive his injuries.

A 21-year-old young man died on Saturday in Rennes, following a serious fall a few hours earlier.

, the victim fell about ten meters at the level of an air shaft in the relay car park near the Villejean-Université metro station.

The young man was in absolute emergency when he was taken care of by the emergency services and transported to the emergency room, around 3:30 a.m.

At the time of what appears to be an accident, the young man was returning from a nightclub with two friends and wanted to "race", said the public prosecutor Philippe Astruc, quoted by France Bleu Armorique.

An investigation has been opened and an autopsy is to be performed.
