In March 2021, SVT visited Jönköping Bottnaryd when fewer buses would run into the community and instead stop along highway 40. A distance of up to two kilometers for those who live in the northern part of Bottnaryd.

Then residents in the community said that fewer will be able to take the bus, something that turned out to be true.

- We could almost get into town by car in the time it takes to the bus stop and there wait for the bus.

We are looking at getting another car to solve our life puzzle, says Tobias Melin.

"JLT has the wrong image"

Since the report last year, residents have tried to get a representative out of Jönköping's county traffic to show the shortcomings they are experiencing.

But it has hardly been possible to get in touch with them, let alone get a visit, according to Bottnaryd resident Johan Junvik who has been a driving force in the matter.

- We have tried to get them out here because they seem to have the wrong picture of what it looks like.

But we have not got anyone out in a year, he says.

Last year, JLT said that they would possibly increase the number of bus trips in the community and they have done that, is not that enough?

- It is one or two trips that have been added, but it is in the middle of the day.

We would need more trips, especially in the evenings and weekends.

The latest bus into the community arrives at 5.11 pm on weekdays and 4.45 pm on weekends.

In the clip below, JLT responds to the criticism:

Joakim Strid, traffic developer for regional buses on county traffic, thinks that so far the new stops have worked well.

He says that the dialogue with the people of Bottnaryd was mainly about timetables.
