The Verkhovna Rada said in a statement on Twitter that Russian forces had fired on a nuclear research facility in the city of Kharkiv.
The statement quoted the State Nuclear Regulatory Authority as saying: "It is currently impossible to assess the extent of the damage due to non-stop hostilities in the area of the nuclear facility."
