With Easter approaching, the interest in skiing is great.

The bookings hail in at both ski resorts in Hemavan and Tärnaby.

- There has been a lot of pressure on the bookings and soon we will be fully booked for Easter.

Even though it was hot, we do not feel particularly worried about lack of snow, there is a lot to take off on the slopes, says Ann Eriksson, receptionist at Hemavan's mountain center.

With one and a half meters of snow on the peaks, David Johansson in Tärnaby is not worried either:

- We keep the season going for as long as possible and it is usually until May.

You can never control the weather, but the snow situation looks good so I do not think there will be any problem with the snow supply, says David Johansson who is a partner in Tärnaby Alpint.

"If it continues, it will be tougher"

Closer to the coast, there is a little more concern:

- Easter is late this year and if the weather were to continue like this, it would be tougher.

So far, we have not had to shut down any Easter and we hope it continues like this.

There is plenty of snow at the moment, says Daniel Johansson who owns the ski resort in Agnäs.

- So far it is not a problem but if this heat continues, it can be a problem.

It is also difficult to supplement with artificial snow when the temperature is not right outside, says Jimmy Holmberg at the lift on Bräntberget.
