While Jérôme le Brière, the new director of the Martinique University Hospital, officially met with the trade unions against the backdrop of a challenge to the vaccination obligation and the health pass, around thirty demonstrators came to disrupt the meeting.
During an altercation, six security guards were sprayed in the face with caustic soda.
Although they were immediately taken to the emergency room, it is feared that their visual acuity is impaired.
Legal action is underway.
