China News Agency, San Francisco, March 25. US media reported on the 25th local time that a helicopter crashed and caught fire in Rollette, Texas, killing two people on board.

The Associated Press reported that at about 11:30 on the same day, a helicopter crashed in an open space surrounded by businesses in Rollette, Texas, killing two people on board.

On-site footage showed that during the fall, the main body of the helicopter had been separated from the tail parts such as the tail propeller.

The plane circled down and caught fire in the clearing.

Local media KXAS-TV reported that the plane's tail propeller landed on a nearby building.

Later aerial footage from the local media WFAA showed that the helicopter was burned beyond recognition, and rescuers placed a temporary enclosure around it.

Reports said the helicopter, a Robinson R44, was heading west before the crash.

Sky Helicopters, a Texas-based helicopter company, confirmed that the plane in question belonged to it.

The National Transportation Safety Board and the FAA will investigate the accident.
