The sun will illuminate most of France on Saturday, announced Météo France.

Clouds are expected in the south-west and south of Provence, while temperatures will be 6 to 11 degrees on the Atlantic coast and on the shores of the Mediterranean and the maximum may reach 21 degrees.

The weather on Saturday will still be sunny over most of the country and cloudy over a southern third, according to Météo-France forecasts.

The majority of the country will therefore experience very sunny weather, a veil of clouds will be thick in the morning from the south-west to the south of Provence.

It will give way to some clearings over the hours.

Light showers will develop in the afternoon on the Pyrenees and the Corsican relief.

A few showers will also be possible in Provence.

Maximum temperatures at 21 degrees

The autan wind will strengthen at midday with gusts between 50/60 km/h on the plain, and up to 70 km/h on the heights.

The east wind will be strong on the Var coast and on the west of Corsica.

Small frosts will be expected in Auvergne and locally in the lands of Provence.

The minimums will be between 2 and 6 degrees on the east side and from north to south-west, 6 to 11 degrees on the Atlantic side and along the Mediterranean.

Highs will reach 15 to 20 degrees in general, up to 21 degrees over the western half.
