• Spain Luis Roldán dies at the age of 78

Luis Roldán

, former director of the Civil Guard, sentenced to 28 years for corruption, has died in Zaragoza at the age of 78.

For this reason, it has been known that

two months earlier

his last wife, the Russian Natalia Glazkova,

Natsha

for friends ,

had died at the age of 66 .

Before meeting the former director of the Civil Guard via the Internet, Natalia was a

Muscovite in love with Spanish,

which led her to rest for a while in Spain.

She then worked in

accounting

and had two flats in Moscow.

Luis Roldan dies

Elegant and discreet,

they assure that her

slender, blonde

figure stood out in the exhibition hall of the Cervantes Institute in Moscow, of which she was a regular at the activities it organized.

The center, which opened in 2002, was inaugurated by the then Prince Philip during his first visit to the Russian capital.

Some testimonies, collected at the time by EL MUNDO, said that, since its inauguration, the Institute

became his second home

and he studied Spanish there.

When she met Roldán on the Internet, in 2008, Natalia was

a widow and had a son in his 20s.

The former director of the Civil and Russian Guards

settled in Zaragoza

in an apartment of about 70 square meters that belonged to Roldán's parents, which, apparently, was

seized

and he bought it at a subsequent auction.

In the Aragonese capital they led

a routine and discreet life

and there is hardly any graphic testimony together.

In a Pilar Festival, the cameras captured them

in a bullfight

in the Plaza de Zaragoza.

This is how they appeared in a report published in March 2010 by this newspaper.

sentimental story

In Roldán's sentimental history there were

other women before.

The first was

Ángeles Cimorra,

from Zaragoza, whom he married in 1968 and

had two children:

Luis Javier, an economist trained in the US, and Ignacio, who died in a traffic accident in 1998 at just 17 years old.

Their relationship cooled down when in 1982 Roldán was

assigned to Pamplona as Government Delegate

in Navarra and, after 22 years of marriage, they

divorced

.

Before meeting

his second wife,

the former director of the Civil Guard began an

affair with Elisa Rodríguez in 1988,

a relationship that lasted about two years.

In 1992, Roldán married

the doctor Blanca Rodríguez Porto, the

daughter of Galician parents born in Chile, in Paris.

They had two children,

the eldest was one year old when his father fled in April 1994, after being convicted of corruption, and the other was born while he was already in prison.

Their relationship

broke down

and Rodríguez Porto and his children, who were then 16 and 12 years old, moved to live in Galicia.
