In the Var, a man arrested after the rape in the street of a teenager

A 42-year-old man was arrested by police on Wednesday for the rape of a 14-year-old child, reports

.

The facts occurred in broad daylight and in the middle of the street in the town of La Garde, in the Var.

The young teenager says he was approached at a bus stop before being dragged by force to a park where he was raped.

It was passers-by and witnesses who kept the attacker in place while waiting for the arrival of the municipal police.

The latter is already known for similar acts and his identity is registered in the file of perpetrators of sexual offences.
