China News Service, Paris, March 25th. The 23rd Presidium of the French Overseas Chinese Association held a meeting on March 24, local time, to elect the next two presidents of the French Overseas Chinese Association.

Cai Junzhu was elected as the 24th chairman, and Zheng Jinbiao was elected as the 25th chairman.

  The presidium meeting of the French Overseas Chinese Association was held at the venue of the French Overseas Chinese Association in Paris.

Ren Limin, the current chairman of the French Overseas Chinese Association, introduced the election-related situation.

The presidium meeting then voted, and Cai Junzhu and Zheng Jinbiao were elected as the 24th and 25th presidents of the French Overseas Chinese Association respectively.

  Ren Limin congratulated Cai Junzhu and Zheng Jinbiao on their election.

Both Cai Junzhu and Zheng Jinbiao expressed that they would continue to lead the French Overseas Chinese Association to achieve new development in serving overseas Chinese and promoting Sino-French non-governmental friendship.

  The French Overseas Chinese Association is the oldest Chinese association in France.

The French Overseas Chinese Association was formerly known as the "French Overseas Chinese Industry and Commerce Mutual Aid Association", which was founded in 1949.

Since its establishment, the association has continued to grow and develop, cares about and supports the construction of the ancestral country, strives to build a harmonious overseas Chinese community, attaches great importance to the cultivation of the new generation of Chinese, safeguards the legitimate rights and interests of overseas Chinese in France, promotes the cause of Sino-French friendship, and establishes a good image for overseas Chinese. The overseas Chinese have played an active role in integrating into the local society.
