The owners of this house, in Lattes (Hérault), near Montpellier, probably had the scare of their lives this Friday morning: for a reason still unknown, a garbage truck, which was making its rounds in the neighborhood, violently embedded in the garage of their pavilion, say the firefighters.

The 46-year-old driver was slightly injured in the crash.

He was transported to Montpellier University Hospital.

Two passengers were in the back of the vehicle: one of them, aged 53, was also slightly injured and taken to hospital, and the second, aged 38, was unharmed and was supported by his employer.

The residents, who were in the house at the time of the impact, were not injured.

The garage of the house, however, is in danger of collapsing.

A specialized firefighting team was dispatched to the scene.
