It was during the weekend that the police helicopter hovered over Uppsala in another case.
By pure coincidence, two people were seen in Nyby with deviant behavior.
The discovery ended with the two being arrested on suspicion of two house burglaries and five car burglaries.
The police are investigating whether the people have connections to international networks, which there are signs of in this case, according to Uppsala Police's spokesperson Jonas Eronen.
Car parts are taken abroad
- It is quite common to take car parts from German car brands and transport them to your home country, where you will probably then use them again in crash-damaged cars, he says.
According to Jonas Eronen, this type of organized crime is going in waves - but there is reason to be extra careful.
- Now it seems that they are here and do their burglaries and thefts, so therefore we want to go out and flag a little for it.
