The President of Ukraine appeared on Thursday before the Swedish Parliament.
It is the latest in a series of appearances before leaders in Western countries - while Zelesky frequently addressed heads of government on Twitter.
Bert Sundström believes that it is part of a conscious strategy from Ukraine - which seeks to weaken Russia.
The plan is to ensure that as many democratic countries in the West as possible openly show that they are on Ukraine's side and are prepared to supply Ukraine with weapons, thereby showing Russia that the resistance does not only come from Ukraine, he says in Aktuellt.
"Called defense operation - a lie"
The picture painted from the Russian side is completely different.
- They say that this is a campaign from a Nazi Ukraine - with the help of NATO and the United States - to attack Russia.
What is happening now is a pure defense operation according to Russia, and that is a lie, says Sundström.
Bert Sundström believes that Zelenskyj today turned to the Swedish Parliament is linked to the fact that he received support from Sweden at a relatively early stage.
- That he chooses Sweden has to do with the fact that Sweden was one of the first countries to grant arms shipments to Ukraine, says the Russia correspondent.
