The statement pointed out that NATO will provide Ukraine with further support, covering political, military, cyber security and protection against biological and chemical threats and other aspects.
NATO has activated its defense plan and deployed 40,000 troops on the Eastern Front, the statement said.
NATO also plans to deploy four other battle groups in Bulgaria, Hungary, Romania and Slovakia.
The statement also pointed out that the current measures are still preventive, modest and non-escalating.
The statement also said that NATO countries are significantly increasing defense spending, and all parties at the summit unanimously decided to further increase military spending, and plan to discuss related plans at the next Madrid summit.
