- The work of the 20th edition of the Doha Forum will start on Saturday, which will last for two days under the title "Transformation into a New Era".

The Doha Forum is a global platform that brings together politicians to discuss the urgent challenges facing the world, promote dialogue, exchange ideas, make policy, and present viable recommendations.

The Forum aims to better spark dialogue and enrich discussions among influential participants from governments, civil society, media, academia, think tanks and the private sector, by contributing to its mission of encouraging the exchange of ideas, policy-making and action-oriented networking.

It is expected that the 2022 edition will be the largest since the forum was launched in 2000, as it will bring together the most prominent leaders, politicians and decision-makers from all over the world to discuss a number of core topics, namely: geopolitical alliances and international relations, the financial system and economic development, defense, cybersecurity, and food security. , sustainability and climate change.

The city of Doha witnessed the holding of the last edition of the Forum in December 2019, which included 243 speakers, 142 nationalities and 300 media professionals, in addition to more than 100 bilateral meetings and 40 “viewpoint” interviews, which is the interview platform for the Doha Forum, and provides an opportunity to direct the most important Frequently asked questions to the most prominent political and industrial figures from around the world.

During the years 2020 and 2021, the Doha Forum continued its work virtually through a series of sessions that brought together a group of senior policy makers, experts and researchers to discuss a number of pressing global issues.
