Convicted of sexually assaulting minors, Jeffrey Epstein committed suicide in 2019 in a New York prison.

The businessman owned a lot of real estate, including islands.

Thus two private islands located in the Virgin Islands (United States), in the Caribbean, are currently on sale for 125 million dollars (113 million euros).

Two private and luxurious islands

The first, Little Saint James, which measures approximately 290,000 m², was purchased in 1998. The financier had paid 7.95 million dollars at the time to have it.

There is a heliport, a boat dock, a gas station, two swimming pools, a main residence, four guest villas and private beaches, details the

The second island, Great Saint James is larger: 668,000 m².

It also, logically, cost more.

Jeffrey Epstein acquired it in 2016 for $18 million (about 16 million euros),

"Island of pedophiles"

It is in the smallest island, called “island of pedophiles” or “island of orgies”, that the financier stayed.

In January 2020, a US prosecutor filed a lawsuit against Epstein's estate.

According to her, young underage girls were taken to the island and suffered sexual assaults there.

Two days after the death of the American, a search was carried out there.

The money from the sale of these two islands will be used to pay the ongoing legal proceedings and the costs of managing the properties.

Part of the property belonging to the financier has already been sold in March 2021. This is the New York residence, sold for 51 million dollars and that of Palm Beach part for 18.5 million dollars.
