The Republican candidate for the upcoming French presidential election, Valerie Pecresse, is regularly boxing to stay healthy.

But a medical reason finally forced her to put the gloves down.

Pecres was chosen months ago to represent the Republican Party in the French presidential elections, which are scheduled to take place in the first round on Sunday, April 10.

Pekris received about 11 percent of the vote's intentions, and the candidate will have to fight hard to reach the second round of the elections.

On Wednesday, she was a guest on C8, and in response to the question, "Are you okay now?", the party official for the greater Paris region said, "It's a battle."

The answer was not normal, according to the program's announcer, Cyril Hannouna, and he told her, "By the way, I know you do boxing."

In fact, to maintain her physique, Becris does not hesitate to enter the ring and practice this hobby regularly.

Unfortunately, nowadays, normal health concerns have forced her to postpone her boxing routine.

She revealed to the famous TV channel, "I love boxing, but I no longer practice it because I have a herniated disc," adding that she had "great admiration" for famous boxers, "Iselle Mouseli", "Suleiman Sissoko", and others.

While waiting to be able to wear gloves again, the Republican candidate will have to fight the biggest battle of her life, which, if she wins, will take her to the Elysee.
