Music, alcohol, drugs… At the foot of the art deco hotels, Ocean Drive avenue in Miami Beach, Florida, is transformed into a gigantic open-air nightclub.

But in recent days, the party has turned into a panic when knocks rang out amid a crowd of revelers in swimsuits.

After two shootings and five gunshot wounds in five days,

the town hall declared a state of emergency

and imposed a night curfew from Wednesday evening to Monday between midnight and 6 am.

The authorities plan to renew it next week.
