On the occasion of the sixth anniversary of the establishment of the Lancang-Mekong cooperation mechanism, the "Lancang-Mekong Impression" short video contest hosted by China News Service was launched on March 24, and the contest submission platform was launched on the same day.

  The Lancang River originates from the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau in China. It is called the Mekong River after leaving Xishuangbanna, China. It flows from north to south through China, Myanmar, Laos, Thailand, Cambodia, and Vietnam, and finally flows into the South China Sea.

The Lancang-Mekong River stretches for nearly 5,000 kilometers. It is not only a natural link between the six countries, but also a cradle for the people along the coast to thrive for generations.

  The six Lancang-Mekong countries rely on each other's mountains and rivers, and they have a humanistic relationship.

Since the establishment of the Lancang-Mekong cooperation mechanism, the six coastal countries have continued to promote the construction of a Lancang-Mekong community with a shared future for peace and prosperity. Practical cooperation in various fields has developed in an all-round way, injecting "source of living water" into the development of all countries.

At present, in the face of the complex situation of the intertwined and superimposed situation of the epidemic in the century and the changes of the century, the Lancang-Mekong cooperation has shown more vigor and vitality.

  The "Lancang-Mekong Impression" short video contest came into being amid the booming development of Lancang-Mekong cooperation.

The organizer said that the competition aims to enhance people-to-people and cultural exchanges among the Lancang-Mekong countries and deepen the understanding and friendship between peoples of all countries.

The Lancang-Mekong coast has magnificent natural scenery, countless historical sites, simple and strong ethnic customs, and moving stories that have been sung for thousands of years. These elements are the treasure house of visual communication and are the perfect subject for short video creators.

The short video works collected from the people of the six countries will use real and vivid images to record the colorful Lancang-Mekong Strait and tell the Lancang-Mekong story in the people's own lens language.

  This short video competition has set up a collection and submission system (https://actshow.chinanews.com/mlvideo22/user/login), and contestants can log in to the system to submit their original works.

The competition will close at the end of August 2022.

The organizer will select the winning works, disseminate them on the media platforms of the six Lancang-Mekong countries, and reward them.

 Call for works requirements:

  The format is not limited, and the duration should be within 5 minutes; MOV or MP4 format, supports horizontal and vertical screens; the resolution is 1080P (1920*1080 resolution); the video picture is clear, without corner logos, station logos, watermarks and other signs ; It is recommended to have subtitles on the video, and the subtitles should be in Simplified Chinese or English, and the corresponding manuscript should be provided, and the manuscript should not be less than 200 words.

When the size of the high-definition video exceeds 100M, please use the network disk for submission.
