It was the night of 26 September last year that a large fire broke out in a car garage on Rådjursvägen on Marieberg in Umeå.
About 20 cars were damaged in the fire and 15 of them were completely destroyed.
A 17-year-old man is now sentenced at Umeå District Court for arson and receives juvenile supervision for seven months.
Some of the affected car owners and their insurance companies had claimed a total of more than half a million kronor in damages, but the district court has decided that these claims should be handled as separate cases.
