The Goethe University offers psychological help to traumatized refugees from the Ukraine and other crisis regions.

In Frankfurt, Münster, Marburg and Munich, those affected can complete a new type of therapy program that is intended to help them to cope with their experiences.

Participants can complete ten sessions of 100 minutes each over a period of twelve weeks.

Interpreters are available if needed.

The project is accompanied scientifically;

a comparison group receives the same treatment after a waiting period.

The success of the therapy will be determined in both groups before and after the treatment and three and twelve months later.

So far, 64 patients have been admitted to the program, and additional places are available for refugees aged 18 and over.

The project is funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research.
