REPORT

Worrying new Russian strikes.

Ukraine is living its 28th consecutive day of war, and the people of kyiv sadly realized it again on Wednesday morning.

Several explosions were heard about seven kilometers northwest of the city center.

At least six buildings were hit and four people were injured.

"It was exactly 7:27 a.m. I looked at my watch. I heard a series of explosions, five or six. It was something unusual. It was not a bomb like the others. I think it was a cluster bomb with the small, very fast explosions in series. This sound was really new. There was a series of explosions at the beginning and 30 seconds later, a second", described a Kyiv resident , worry.

A still very active front near Irpin

Military activity is intensifying on the northern front of the capital, towards its airport which has been disputed since the start of the offensive.

The horizon is saturated with an impressive black smoke which conceals the sky.

The background sound is that of many shots, deep rolls, explosions.

Access to the northern road to go to Gostomel, not far from the airport, is now closed.

A little further west, at Irpin, the front is also very active, as if there were a renewal of the offensives.

However, it is still impossible to determine whether this is a Russian or Ukrainian revival.

More than 3.5 million people have fled Ukraine and the fighting sparked by the invading Russian army, according to the UN count released on Tuesday.

Among these, nearly 200,000 refugees have been evacuated from Poland by train to other host countries, the company PLK, which manages the Polish rail network, announced on Tuesday.
