The man must on several occasions this summer have offered money to an employee at the Swedish Transport Administration to buy a driver's license.
After receiving several unsuccessful results on both driving tests and knowledge tests, the perpetrator thought it was too expensive.
Convicted of bribery
According to the suspect, one can, among other things, pay for a driver's license in the form of a fee or fine in the country he comes from, and therefore he denies the crime.
But according to Jönköping District Court, the man committed the act with intent, and therefore sentences him for bribery to a 60-day fine.
