Very popular among Asians for several years now, foot peeling has become trendy in France since the confinements.

Essential for having pretty soft feet, this treatment, which is practiced at home and in a salon, gently exfoliates and moisturizes, without any tingling sensation.

Walking, friction, lack of hydration... so many causes that damage our feet on a daily basis.

To find pretty, smooth toes, there's nothing like a peeling.

But, how does it actually work?

These are masks that come in the form of large plastic socks.

These socks contain a powerful peeling treatment to rid our feet of dryness, corns and calluses.

Very soft skin

How to apply it?

We simply put on the socks and then leave the treatment on between 1h and 1h30.

The sensation is very pleasant: the peel does not sting and does not heat up.

We then remove the socks and rinse our feet.

The results are not visible immediately afterwards.

You have to wait a few days, between three and seven days, before you see your feet peeling to give way to very soft skin.

Foot peeling, yes, but in moderation

The peeling of the feet has become so trendy that it is now practiced in certain institutes, in particular the Guinot beauty institute.

Cost of treatment?

40 euros, against only 4 euros for the one made at home.

But beware, this peel is not for everyone.

You should avoid doing it if you walk a lot or if you are athletic and run a lot, for example.

The dead skin removed by the peeling is indeed not there for nothing.

It is used to protect the foot during walking and running.

Without this dead skin, we risk having pain.

Excessive peeling is also counterproductive.

Because the body will indeed recreate even more skin to protect the foot and we therefore obtain the opposite effect of baby skin.
