President-elect Yoon Seok-yeol made a surprise visit to the 'tent press room' set up in front of his office in Tongui-dong, Jongno-gu on the morning of the 23rd and chatted with reporters for 15 minutes.

He emphasized his will to communicate with the press, reminding him of his promise to visit frequently by creating a press center on the first floor when a new office is set up in the Yongsan Ministry of National Defense.

President-elect Yoon stopped by the press room on the way to the office at around 10:53 am today and said, "We need to create a better environment, but let's try it first."

He opened the refrigerator door on the other side of the press room and showed interest, saying, "What have you put here?"

He immediately said, "Let's have a cup of coffee," at the request for 'tea time', and sat down among the reporters holding a tea in a paper cup.

Then he encouraged, "Our reporters, if I only eat, please bring one cup each."

When a reporter talked about the Kimchi stew luncheon in Tongui-dong on the 16th, President-elect Yoon replied, "The kimchi stew at that house is cool...even when I was at school, there were many shops selling donuts in Pajeon, so it reminds me of the past."

He continued, "I don't eat breakfast alone. I eat it with my dog," he said.

Regarding his wife, Kim Gun-hee, he said, "My family doesn't eat breakfast."

To the question of 'I told reporters that I would cook pork when I took office,' he replied, "If I go to the office building, I will cook a large amount of pork once in the evening at the cafeteria for a day and eat it together."

In relation to President Moon Jae-in's dog breed at the Blue House, President-elect Yoon said, "Even if a dog is a normal (national) dog, the owner should keep raising it." "If you give it to me, I will raise it well."

Regarding the dogs and cats they are raising, he said, “I am going to take them to the Hannam-dong government office (referred to as the official residence).

President-elect Yoon showed a lot of space to laugh, saying, "I can't sleep much because I have a habit of campaigning."

President-elect Yoon burst into laughter as he said, "In a dream-like place, I have to do something and respond to it, but if I wake up, it's not an election."

President-elect Yoon promised that he would visit the press room on the first floor frequently when the move to the Ministry of National Defense was completed.

He also mentioned that former Presidents Kim Dae-jung and Roh Moo-hyun had visited the press room more than 100 times during their five-year term.

President-elect Yoon, who had a series of public luncheons immediately after being elected, answered, "You have to eat what you give, and you have to go to the place you reserved."
