Almost every part of your Facebook account can be changed and customized, including the email address associated with your account.
Your email account is used to log into Facebook and allow other users to determine your location, if you allow this option in your privacy settings.
And if you've lost access to the email account associated with Facebook, or simply want to use a completely different email address, doing so is quick and easy.
How to change your email address on Facebook via a computer?
1. Log in to Facebook using your current email address and password.
2. Click the down arrow in the upper-right corner of your screen to bring up a drop-down list of options.

3. A sub-menu will appear with more options, so to enter your settings, click on "Settings" as shown in the figure below.

4. Under General Account Settings, you will see a section for contact information, where your primary email address is listed.
Click Edit next to your email address as shown in the figure below.

5. Click Add Another Email or Mobile Number to start a popup in which you can enter your new email address.
6. Enter your new email address and click Add.
7. You will be asked to re-enter your existing Facebook password to confirm the changes.
Once you have completed this security step, Facebook will send you a verification email with a link that you must click to prove that it is a valid email address for you.
8. Open the confirmation email and verify that your new address is correct.
Facebook will automatically set your newly entered email address as the primary contact.
How to change your Facebook email address via the Facebook mobile app?
1. Open the Facebook app on your phone.
2. Tap the stacked horizontal lines in the lower right corner of the screen to open the menu options menu.

3. Tap the gear icon in the upper right corner of the screen to go to Settings and Privacy.

4. On the Settings & Privacy screen, tap Personal info and Account info.

5. Choose contact information.
6. You will then see all the phone numbers and email addresses that you have associated with your Facebook account.
Next, click Add Email Address.

7. On the next screen, Facebook will ask you to enter your new email address and password.
Once done, click Add Email Address, and a confirmation email will be sent.
8. Open the confirmation email, and verify that your new address is correct.
