For Anna-Chloé's mother, her daughter's injuries were caused by her comrades who subjected her to "racist verbal and even physical violence".
The complaint filed by the teenager's mother was dismissed on Tuesday.
According to the public prosecutor, “none of the offenses denounced has been established”.
The complaint of a teenager seriously injured in a fall in her college in Chambéry in December was dismissed on Tuesday, announced the public prosecutor of Chambéry (Savoie).
His mother had denounced a racist attack.
"The investigation carried out by the Chambéry police station under the direction of the prosecution, which in particular allowed the hearing of a large number of witnesses, showed that none of the offenses denounced had been established", specifies, in a press release, the prosecutor, Pierre-Yves Michau.
The principal placed under police protection
The student had seriously injured her face when she fell in the courtyard of her private establishment.
In a text that has gone viral on the Internet, her mother had written that “since the start of the school year”, her daughter had been subjected to “racist verbal and even physical violence” which would be at the origin of the facts.
She had filed a complaint.
This version had been refuted “firmly” by the prosecutor, who relied on “several testimonies” affirming that the teenager was at that time “alone” at the place where she was in the court.
The case had ignited social networks and the director of the college, who had received "death threats", had then been placed "under police protection", according to his lawyer, Me Pierre Perez.
Gradual harassment, according to his lawyer
During an intervention at the beginning of January in the program
Touche pas à mon poste
on C8, Me Mourad Battikh, lawyer for the family, had mentioned several episodes over “two or three months” attesting that the teenager, of Cameroonian origin, had experienced “gradually (…) harassment”.
A student who witnessed the scene had "not been auditioned", said Mr. Battikh, criticizing the prosecution who would like to "demonstrate a single thesis, that of Anna-Chloé falling by herself on a bench".
