The discovery could help to understand the reasons for the crash.

Chinese authorities have announced that they have found one of the black boxes of the China Eastern Airlines Boeing-737 which crashed in southern China on Monday.

132 people were on board the aircraft which plunged near the city of Wuzhou.

“A black box from China Eastern flight MU5735 was found on March 23,” civil aviation spokesman Liu Lusong told reporters.

The plane provided the connection between the Chinese cities of Kunming (southwest) and Canton (south).
