Twenty firefighters, including a rescue team in dangerous environments, were mobilized to help a paraglider.
The 63-year-old man was seriously injured after falling about 20 meters from the top of a cliff in the Saint-Marc sector, reports the fire and rescue service of Loire Atlantique.
According to the firefighters, the man was first extracted from the rocks to the top of the
cliff by helicopter, with the help of the Montoir-de-Bretagne gendarmerie helicopter.
He was transported to Saint-Nazaire hospital and then had to be transferred by helicopter to Nantes University Hospital.
