China News Service, Beijing, March 22 (Reporter Guo Chaokai Xing Chong) Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Wang Wenbin hosted a regular press conference on March 22.

A reporter asked: US Secretary of State Blinken delivered a speech at the US Holocaust Memorial Museum a few days ago, again accusing the Chinese government of continuing to commit "genocide" and "anti-humanity" crimes against the predominantly Muslim Uyghur and other ethnic minorities in Xinjiang.

What is China's comment?

Wang Wenbin: The more the US repeats its Xinjiang-related lies, the more exposed the hypocrisy of its human rights "guardian".

In the face of millions of dead Indians who suffered genocide, the US should sincerely repent for the crimes it has committed, instead of smearing others.

In the face of nearly one million deaths in China due to the epidemic, more than 40,000 victims of gun violence every year, and thousands of victims of racial discrimination, the United States should deeply review its own human rights deficit, rather than point fingers at other countries' human rights.

In the face of the 330,000 civilians killed and more than 26 million refugees in Iraq, Syria, Afghanistan and other countries due to the wars launched by the United States, the United States should beg for forgiveness from the international community, instead of arrogantly acting as a "human rights teacher".

We urge the US to face up to and address its own systemic and long-term human rights issues, not to prescribe medicines for others when it is sick, and not to undermine the human rights of other countries in the name of human rights.

If the US gets rid of the old problem of "human rights teacher", the human rights in the world will be better.
