The bottom of a human body fished out of the Seine at Asnières-sur-Seine

An investigation was opened after the discovery of part of a human body in the Seine, in Asnières-sur-Seine (Hauts-de-Seine), this Sunday at midday.

It was the owner of a barge who, noticing a floating corpse, alerted the police, reports Hauts-de-Seine news.

An identity to be determined

The river brigade intervened on the quay of Doctor-Drevaux.

She fished out the "bottom of a body", a police source told our colleagues.

Investigators will now attempt to determine the cause of death and the identity of the victim.

The corpse being in a state of degradation, the investigations could not make it possible to know more about this death.
