A group attack by seven minors between the ages of 11 and 13 on an 11-year-old classmate in

Benejúzar

(Alicante) has forced a three-way action due to the seriousness of the events.

The beating has common places with other episodes of the same nature but nevertheless contains a differentiating element: the young age of the aggressors.

The rain of blows, the recording and its subsequent publication on social networks has led the

Alicante Juvenile Prosecutor's Office

, the

Civil Guard

and the

Department of Education

to intervene.

According to sources of the investigation, the beating was recorded on the 16th in the toilets of the municipal library of Benejúzar.

Two girls from the same grade took her to the toilets.

Minutes later, four more girls from the first ESO courses of the institute came there.

All of them, explain the same sources, began to kick, push and hit the girl.

One of them strongly pulled her hair while she yelled and insulted her.

The only boy who participated recorded it on his mobile phone and then uploaded it to social networks.

The violence was palpable in the video, say sources of the investigation.

After a few minutes and when the minor was already completely broken, they stopped beating her.

The girl has a cervical sprain and bruises all over her body.

The parents of the victim filed a complaint that same night at the Civil Guard barracks in the neighboring town of Almoradí, which informed the Juvenile Prosecutor's Office.

The aggressors, under 14 years of age, are not liable, although, nevertheless, the Public Ministry is dealing with the matter from the perspective of protection.

That is to say, it is carrying out an exhaustive follow-up on the family and educational environment in which they move, the same sources specified.

For its part, the Ministry of Education has activated its specific plan for the prevention of violence and the promotion of school coexistence at the victim's school, as well as workshops and resources such as mediation to address the problem.

In their complaint, the parents of the attacked girl assured the agents that it was not the first time that their daughter had suffered aggression and insults, although they specified that on previous occasions they had not been such serious episodes.
