We do not yet know exactly how well Nordmark's mines are suitable.

It is part of the ongoing feasibility study;

to look at what exact conditions there are, says Torgny Ulvsby, business developer at Sustainable Energy Solutions Sweden Holding AB (SENS), and continues:

- What we do know is that there has been extensive mining here.

These are large volumes and they are deep enough;

about 400 meters.

So we have a sufficient height to work with.

According to Torgny Ulvsby, it is believed that it can store and generate approximately ten villas' annual consumption of electricity in one day.

The feasibility study is currently about finding suitable mines.

 - Then we will start a process of applying for an environmental permit and so on.

The mines are today filled with water and it needs to be emptied of water so that we can use them, says Torgny Ulvsby.
