The rescue service and the police were alerted just before 3 am. Residents in a nearby multi-family house had to be evacuated by the rescue service in connection with the firefighting work.
A total of 12 apartments were evacuated, some of which received smoke damage.
It is unclear what started the fire.
The police have initiated a preliminary investigation into a serious arson.
