China News Service, March 22 (Reuters) - King Harald of Norway has tested positive for the new coronavirus, the Norwegian Royal Palace said on the 22nd local time.

  According to reports, the Norwegian Royal Palace said in a statement, "His Majesty the King was diagnosed with the new crown virus today, his symptoms are mild, and he will be on sick leave in the next few days."

  The 85-year-old monarch has been Norway's head of state since 1991.

  The report also said that Norway's crown prince Haakon will temporarily replace the king to perform his duties.
