According to information from France Bleu Provence, a man was arrested by the gendarmes on Tuesday morning in La Londe-les-Maures, in the Var, as part of the investigation opened last February.
The town hall and a bank in the small town had been targeted by shooting a few days apart.
The suspect was unfavorably known to authorities.
At his home, the gendarmes found two rifles held without authorization, 10,000 euros in cash and 30 grams of cannabis.
The man was taken into custody.
