A plane carrying 132 people crashed in southern China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.

On the 21st local time, a passenger plane from Kunming City, Yunnan Province, China to Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province, crashed in Uzhu Teng County, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.

A total of 132 people were on board, including 123 passengers and 9 crew members.

Chinese authorities urgently dispatched hundreds of rescuers to nearby areas, but the search operation was hampered by the wildfires caused by the crash.

It is known that the rescue team has found only fragments such as airplane wings so far and no traces of survivors have been found.

According to the video at the time of the crash, the plane crashed at a high speed of 566 km/h from an altitude of 8,869 m.

What's odd is that the aircraft's head fell to the ground and fell vertically.

The plane in the accident was identified as a Boeing 737-800 (Flight MU5735) belonging to China Eastern Airlines.

Benjamin Berman, former NTSB investigator, said in an interview with Bloomberg News that "the Boeing 737-800 is not designed to fall at a steep angle." Described as requiring extreme effort or a very rare form of malfunction.
