Ukrainian President Zelensky has repeatedly reaffirmed his will to fight back decisively without yielding to Russian aggression.

The Russian military had previously issued an ultimatum to surrender and leave Mariupol by 6 pm yesterday (21st) our time, but this was officially rejected.

"Russia wants to hand over Kharkiv, Mariupol and the capital Kiiu," Zelensky said in an interview with the local media.

The Russian attack on Mariupol over the past three weeks has reportedly left 400,000 people without food and water.

Ukraine's government has claimed that 150 children have been killed and more than 400 schools and 110 hospitals destroyed since the invasion of Russia.

He also accused Russia of committing a “national terrorism”.

We're going to do more terrorism, so we need to stop Russia.

It can even attack other countries.]
