- Life is on pause.

There are a lot of emotions right now and we have no clear plans for what we will do in the coming time.

So we only take one day at a time, says Elvira Burlaka.

It was just over two weeks ago that SVT Nyheter Örebro met the Burlaka family for the first time.

They had just reached their goal;

Örebro, after fleeing the war in Ukraine.

Since then, they live at home with Åsa and Mats Olsson in Örebro, who opened their home.

How long they will live there they do not know.

- We have been to the Swedish Migration Agency and given them our papers and now we are waiting.

They said they would get in touch in a week or two and that they would give us a place to stay.

And I want to start working, says Vova Burlaka.
